Saturday 20 August 2011: Flying High
40,000 feet up ain't high enough so you have to go upstairs to get higher.
Bright sunshine streaming in and the choice is waitress service in your seat or do you nip downstairs to sit at the bar?
It's a tough choice.
A bit of fun being upstairs on a Jumbo Jet.
All went well so am now safely in California with blue skies and sun, sun, sun.
Edinburgh, the Festival, and my girls are half a world away.
Just getting ready to head downtown for the evening.
Will try to blip something interesting tomorrow.

Recession has meant such a drop in First Class paying passengers that Virgin Atlantic stuck some Economy seats upstairs! I was lucky enough to get one on this trip.
I understand the full paying upper class folks are somewhat less than happy. At least I got a wee taste of flying that bit higher for a change!
