Erythronium

Labour Day was spent in the garden (are you surprised?). So another flower blip today - hope you are not too bored.

This is our lovely Erythronium dens-canis 'Snowflake' - a favourite. Luckily the roe deer haven't nipped it in the bud this year. Normally they would have.

After the rain last night it was a bit cooler today, but around noon it felt almost summery again. This is really the best time of the year - everything is so beautiful and fresh! The deciduous trees are now all becoming green.
