The Real Edinburgh International Book Festival

Seemed to me to sum up so many couples the world over.

He's reading the weekend newspaper. She's getting in some rays after all the rain.

Both relaxing in the atmosphere of the Edinburgh Book Festival.

Oh, there was plenty of mud in patches so that made it a real festival. But instead of worshipping ageing rockers up on stage the audience worship the printed word.

Oh, and the sun of course.

PS. Picked up the new motorbike today. Just a wee thing that was pretty nippy. Should be good for getting round town.

Thanks for the comments on my 100th blip yesterday. I hadn't realised it was my 100th until afterwards. The jet lag is a bit better today so am feeling a bit more aware.
