Chilli

One of the flowers on one of the Chilli plants I have grown from seed this year.

I have some residing in the greenhouse and some subject to the vagaries of the Lakeland weather.

They are all progressing slowly this year, but all seem to be on the way to producing at least one chilli pepper.

You can just see the pepper forming at the heart of the flower.

The ones in the greenhouse may produce 3 or 4 before giving up for the winter.

I'll see if I can get them to survive and have a better crop next year.
