Spring Blossoms

"Break open a cherry tree and there are no flowers, but the spring breeze brings forth myriad blossoms."

- Ikkyu Sojun

Our weeping cherry has come into bloom, which is lovely. This is the second shot, and the first angle I took today; I tried some others - some which had beautiful blue sky behind, setting off the pink blossoms rather nicely - but mrs tsuken and I agreed this was the best.

We also agreed that it was better straight out of the camera than after a teensy bit of processing. I sharpened it a touch and applied the smallest S curve in the world; the flowers were definitely a bit sharper, and more distinct from the background, but it looks better like this: softer, and with everything blending more.
