Sunday 11 May 2008: Seal
It was a hot and sunny day with not much wind, a perfect day to stay on the water. Yesterday I wrote that the waters around the islands are a true El Dorado for boat owners. And that's what we did today, we took the boat and dropped our anchor close to the beach of the North Sea coast. Immediately a very curious seal came alongside to investigate this orange intruder and came closer and closer. The last picture I took, he was almost alongside. Probably a young seal, just playing and enjoying the beautiful weather, just as we did.
