Back to basics

As part of my 'screen free week ' * I opted to take all my photographs on 'Manual'. No 'A','S' or 'P' setting just the straight vanilla 'like it used to be' photography and surprisingly, well at least to me, I found it very satisfying and enjoyable.

Of course all the shots were processed when we arrived home but there was still that sense of anticipation waiting to see what the shots were like and what they could become.

As you can see went back to absorb the atmosphere of Stones of Stenness- not much more basic than this.

* No iPhone, no WiFi, no laptop, no iPad
