Quick trip down to the marine lab today for journal club--a group of faculty, research assistants, and grad students that meet to discuss recent scientific articles. Pretty interesting! The sun came out as I was on my drive down. So thankful to see the sun! It really makes the landscape so much prettier. I love how the clouds blend into the mountains so you can't tell which are mountains and which are not.

Life lesson 109: If someone wants to be a part of your life, they will make an effort to be in it. And if that's not the case, they're probably not worth your time or effort. Life is too short to waste worrying about petty stuff like that.
