Flying Down to Rio by the Sea-o

Meet Fred Astaire seagull.

He appears to have given up his original career of seagulling, and has dedicated his life to .........

Tap-dancing!

Every morning when I arrive at work, he is there, already in full flow.

Tap tap tappity taptaptap

His little seagull legs a blur of motion, he is often surrounded by an admiring group of jackdaws, as he practices his routine again and again. He sometimes has a partner in his dance, but they are all fly-by-nights.

I can't wait for the movie

(Can't sing, can dance a bit)

He is really charming worms, a learnt behaviour in herring gulls. His diet of worms has made him very fat, but his colour is washed-out, suggesting that he is short of some essential nutrients. He is a permanent feature on the lawns at Archerfield House
