Back to Work

Today my leave is over and i am traveling to the Shetlands Islands to join the 'Retriever' again. First part of this trip is to Aberdeen, the beating offshore and oil main gate to the North Sea. For more than 800 years an important Scottish port until the first discoveries of the black gold in British and Scottish waters. Since then also one of the most busiest offshore ports in the world. Hundreds of supply vessels and all kind of offshore related vessels entering this port monthly. With an oil price of 135 dollar per barrel, Aberdeen will stay in the picture for sure.
