Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Looking Up

Had to slow down just a bit today. :-). Started out with the Museum of Contemporary Art - am ugly building from the outside with very interesting spaces inside. This is looking up the stairway. I loved the Joseph Cornell exhibit with not only his work but all his various influences as well as those he influenced. Much more interesting to me than the new minimalist work ( H says they forgot to put the art in the gallery!)
We decided we were museumed out and it was turning out to be a gorgeous fall day so we walked. Walked to Navy Pier where H took summer school classes way back when (catching up from pharmacy school to medical school) only now it has been totally redesigned with shops, restaurants, theaters, festival halls, an amusement park, and great views of the city and the lake. Walked some more. And we're about to walk for some famous Chicago pizza.

Glad I didn't wait to back blip this trip after getting home- there are way too many great shots - would be too hard to choose.
