Nice weather... for ducks.

We have rain... hooray! The drought is over. We can stop wearing shorts and buying suntan lotion.

A spokesman said: "Looking at Kirkwall Airport, and the readings up until May 26, and there has only been 5mm of rain - the May average is 49.3mm. It has been very dry indeed." Then again, May's not over yet!

Ducks all doing well. No new hatching today. Maybe tomorrow. The one on the left of the pic is Peep, amazing that one week ago she was this little.

I took 61 pics of the fluffballs and none of them had anything other than feet in focus. It's hard enough to get in focus pics when they sit still but when they are moving at speed in all directions it's well nigh impossible.
