Party #3

What a busy day. Yoga detox (which we skipped) followed by champagne retox at the Haut Desert Aerie, a secluded place at the end of a two mile dirt track.
Three brave souls (and three braver gals as pillions) were then equipped with Harleys to ride to our other featured destinations.
The Integratron a sort of dome where you lie down on the floor and the woman plays the crystal bowls. the dome does some weird things with the acoustics and it changes the right side of your brain (apparently). It did sound suspiciously like the backing track of a Paul McKenna hypnosis cd.
On to the Giant Rock, the largest freestanding boulder on earth (apparently) It's big, it's a rock and it's at the end of another few miles of sandy dirt track (our rental car is looking somewhat less than pristine).
Next, a visit to the Love Shack, our hosts' shack in the High Desert (hence all this activity thereabouts). Totally amazing, with views across the desert landscape dotted with Joshua Trees to the mountains beyond. Down several miles of dirt track.
We dropped by Bobby Furst's weird gallery of reclaimed stuff (the picture) before getting back to the Haut Aerie for a pizza and beer party with fire dancers on the outside terraces overlooking a deep valley of boulder-strewn desert.
