The journey continues...

The end of Mendozzle!

We managed to get horse riding organised for today! I was so excited. We were supposed to leave at 9 this morning, our earliest start yet ha! Jess woke us all up before because it was bucketing down :( Mendoza is known as a dessert town that never rains and the day we actually need it to live up to its name it pours!
We did end up managing to go just a few hours later and still made our evening bus.
The horseriding was class!! We were on a trail in the foothills of the Andes again and the guys taking us literally told us how to go, stop and turn in a matter of seconds and then we were off! I was pretty scared to begin with cause the ground was so uneven and there were massive rocks everywhere but I quickly got used to it and enjoyed every minute! We even fitted in a few trots and tried galloping but Cats horse at the front was too lazy and held everyone back lol. We stopped half way for some mate and typical Argentine breakfast (which was bread things with little bits of fried meat inside..random but good!)
When we finished we got off the horse and they just wandered off by themselves back to the ranch, was so nice!
