Friday 28 October 2011: Wood Duck
I visited a pond near the library that we use to visit when the girls were small. They had an abundance of Mallard ducks, but then I spotted a male Wood Duck...and then I spotted his mate. There they were, the most beautiful ducks I have ever seen! You cannot believe their colors until you see them in the wild!
