International Birthday Wishes

#2 is 19 today. He has received birthday wishes in Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Polish, Korean and Romanian. University has given him the opportunity to make friends from so many different countries. (Apologies that I haven't dealt with the smudges, but decided just to record accurately what was on the card.)

We saw him briefly at breakfast to wish him well, then he was off to a 9 am lecture and later away for the weekend with a group from the University. It feels strange not to be celebrating with cake and candles tonight. We are saving it all for his return on Sunday evening.
