Friday 4 November 2011: Yay!

Had classes all morning. Short break then into Senior Prize Giving - the day that marks the end of 'real' school for the seniors. It was a long PG but a good one.

Our guest speakers were 4 former students who are now living their dreams in different parts of the world. The genius of technology - specifically skype! - enabled them to address the seniors from wherever in the world they were - J in the USA on a 4 year basketball scholarship, L in England chasing her Irish dancing dream, A on a scholarship at a unique school in Canada and H living his dream of working and living on every continent before the age of 30. He's in Africa and about to climb Mt Kilimanjaro! What a mixed bunch and what inspirational young people.

And the staff??? Well - we went to the pub after it was all over to live our dreams....!??! ;)
