Monday 14 November 2011: Holyrood Abbey
On a school trip to Palace of Holyroodhouse this morning with a group of P5 children. The girls were interested in why the lock of hair which had belonged to Mary, Queen of Scots, was white rather than red. The boys were crouching down on the floor looking to see if it was really the blood from David Rizzio which had caused the stains.
