What happened to 'An Apple for the Teacher?'

Dear daughter came home from school last night and announced that it was her form teacher's birthday tomorrow, and the class had asked her to bake a cake for him. So she rustled up this beauty. I should have taken better photos as it was a delight to behold. Only crumbs came back in the box.
