Caitlin's masterpiece

Horrendous weather - ferocious southerly winds, torrentail rain and mist - my little car got buffeted as it traversed the coast road to work. Indoor playtimes and too much spare energy going on. Absolutely no blipping opportunities outside so it's going to have to be Caitlin's masterpiece! We now have a wall of vibrant colour based loosely based on Sean Scully. Remember these are very small people, Caitlin is six, and she're really got the idea of different patterns and spaces and a great use of mad colour. I blame the teacher!! At least I didnt ask for a rocket - see oldmills !!

Not much time for browsing tonight so apologies for lack of comments but a few friends are now coming round for a curry, Himself is making naan bread, squash curry, dhal and fragrant rice; plus baked apples and custard!! Annabel and Klaus are off on a whirlwind of christmas shows, selling their artwork so we wont see them for a couple of weeks. Travellersjoy is coming too so great for a catch up.

I forgot to mention the film yesterday - I chickened out of the Almodovar film and went to see The Help instead - actually very good and thought provoking - set in Mississippi in the early 1960s and looking at the plight of black servants and their white mistresses as times slowly changed . Himself reported back that The Skin I live in was excellent and I would have coped - it'll have to be the dvd. Off to make some raita - have a good evening.
