Friday 25 November 2011: Blackbird.
The males live up to their name but, confusingly,
females are brown often with spots and streaks on their breasts.
The bright orange-yellow beak and eye-ring make
adult male blackbirds one of the most striking garden birds.
One of the commonest UK birds, it's mellow song is also a favourite.
I see this bird stencil everyday on the way to work,
but have avoided blipping it as there only seems one way to go with it.
But today, it's feels like the perfect thing.
