Thursday 1 December 2011: Granton Gas

Passed the rather flat looking redundant gasomter at Granton today. I believe this is about to be demolished. There has been a lot of new building around the old gas works and it doesn't look at all like it used to.

I liked the criss cross of supports that are at angular odds with the sweeping curves of its round shape.

The clouds were rather ominous and only leant to the structure's forlorn status.

I thought I'd blip it before it's gone.
