Learning Process

I've been looking at off camera flashes in my price range and thought I'd better start learning what my "on camera" flash can do first. I'm still experimenting but I learnt what "rear curtain" sync or just "rear" sync means - so I tried it. I don't think this is really what it is meant for but a long exposure with a quick blast of light at the end (to highlight the bridge here) worked for me. More thinking required here before I have an excuse for blowing my budget on a flash gun. This is also with in-camera HDR and a little trip to Silver FX Pro 2 and back. Oh, and f/6.3 is the magic number for my nifty fifty - it's damn sharp.
