First snow

A passing snowstorm left a dusting of snow this morning. I was intrigued by the difference of the colour in these two pics, taken within seconds of each other out of the house windows. The left one to the North the other to the South.

Apart from the weather... septic tank is backed up (yes it is as bad as that thought that just flitted through your head) and we're running out of coal.

I may decide to hibernate.
