Thursday 8 December 2011: Why Kale Tastes Sweet
Unlike me, kale loves a good frosty wrap. All this ice melts away very quickly, almost as I breathe on the leaves when I crawl in closer to check out the crystals. By noon the plants are standing full and tall in the sun, revelling in extremes.
