... before she can finally knock off.

It's been a long shift, the work's all done - now she just has to wait until 1.00 am and she'll be out the door.

The stools are up, the till's done, the glasses washed, all the doors but one locked and all the customers gone, save two stayers drinking with the boss (and me, wondering what I'm doing still here when I have to be up early to get my voice working by 10.00 am for carol singing in the street...)
