... who will be 100 in January.

Every Wednesday, at our local RSL hall (it's not a club with a bar and pokies etc, just a meeting room with a pretty good kitchen and walls full of military memorabilia)... anyway, every Wed there's a community lunch for the local elderly, disabled, impecunious - anyone who wants to go really. Today was the Christmas edition, with all the trimmings, and some of us from the Big choir (a selection of those who could get the parts right with one rehearsal) went along to sing carols. We're doing it again at Katoomba next week.

Mavis was one of the guests today. I'm sure there'll be a big party for her in January.
