Anyone seen him yet???

Up and into Bantry for emergency cheque lodging, extra bananas and face cleanser!! Then we did a mighty walk - himself lending out his thick socks, furry workman's boots, anoraks and waterproof trousers to unprepared sons- we made a very handsome quartet. The weather was damp and got damper - mad dogs and Englishmen came to mind - by the end we were soaked but oddly refreshed. We met these handsome chaps - tame lambs - on the way. I was especially delighted to see them because we first saw them when they were newly born - each one having a sad story to tell, and here they are still, looking very good.

The mincepies I made yesterday have gone, so a new batch is cooking. A quick tidy up and himself is off to the airport later as my brother arrives in at the ghastly hour of 11pm - they might meet Santa on the way back.
