Sunday 25 December 2011: Stuff your turkey!
I am having 28-day-aged
orgasmic organic rib of beef. With goose-fat roasties, parsnip puree with ginger, black sprouts blanched and then sautéed in butter, rosemary, garlic and anchovy, leeks and horseradish, all with a red wine reduction.
I figure I'd much rather plough through a load of cold roast beef than a load of cold turkey.
The dog is already looking longingly at this, it's going to drive her mental to watch me eat it..!
