Sunday 25 December 2011: Christmas Puzzle
One Christmas is very much like another one after a few years, is it not? There's very much a routine; I'm sure we even sit in the same seats as the presents are tossed over to each other. This year was different however. This year was definitely the year of the disappointing brie. I was promised ripe. And mature! Is it possible that it could have been both of those but totally lacking in flavour? A puzzle indeed. Not good enough.
Now, however, it's 9pm and the box of Scattergories will be brought out. The brie must be temporarily forgotten as a detective beginning with the letter 'H' sought. Oh, Lordy?.
