Beak to beak

Well not quite, the angle helps! It was good to get out and about in the fresh air of St Ives today but not so good for blipping, too dark and breezy so the jay escaped before I could change lens and the squirrel took his Mission Impossible leap whilst I was still getting the camera sorted, then the grebes (which turned out to be goosanders according to the information board) kept diving and reappearing impressive distances away. Tony spotted the heron on the island on Coppice Pond but it is some way off so this is a less than satisfying blip but I quite liked the idea that they were hobnobbing about the weather or the state of fishing in the pond.
