Saturday 31 December 2011: New Year's Eve
This is what we usually do on New Year's Eve. Chippy and Ash arrive at 10am loaded with DVDs and the rest of the day is spent watching them, eating and drinking. The Mother joins us for the meals but no longer wants to sit though the films.
I chose a light-hearted one to start with: The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock - extremely funny chick flick. We would recommend it! After that we started on the 4-disc set of Hornblower but we've now had dinner and are having a change and watching Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2.
