Heritage Day

Timaru's main street in the 1920's - Stafford St. Today we have held Heritage Day, where retailers and others (not me) dressed up in period costumes, vintage cars, clydesdale team of four (love them) , stalls out on the street (which was closed to traffic), dixie band and many other fun things.

Our photography club used our green screen to take pictures, once loaded on the computer they were superimposed against the old street scene.....pretty awesome and was most popular. No charge for the sitting and only $4 to get a 7 x 5 print. We were really busy and had a heap of fun.

I have loaded three pictures in my blipfolio. The first one visually explains the green screen and the other are the gorgeous clydsdales, love em.

This morning D & I went on a lengthy bike ride, then a bit of gardening before going into Timaru for this event.

Thank you all for all the faves etc on yesterday collage, it sat 2nd from the top spotlight all day, nestled beside Cabbagetree's baby hedgehog which was a worthy number 1.
