(Re)Gathering Storm

As I headed home tonight, the storm seemed to be regaining its full strength and fury, with horizontal rain and wind whipping in every direction. Princes Street is still completely closed to traffic, and it was a strange experience to wander along the middle of such a usually busy road, with hardly a soul about - just the odd tourist looking shellshocked and those of us back at work this week scurrying home. Quite an odd atmosphere actually.

This isn't a brilliant shot - just couldn't keep the camera steady against the wind for long enough, but I wanted to blip it anyway, as I wasn't sure when I'd get another chance like this one!
