Thursday 5 January 2012: Immobility made mobile
My eldest, Lindy, had two ligaments torn in her right ankle.
A little more than a month ago, these were fixed and attached and we are holding thumbs that the ligaments will integrate with the bony tissue from where it was torn.
To ensure immobility, her foot and lower leg were put in a cast and this will only be removed early February.
Depending on how the healing has progressed or taken place, she might find herself in yet another cast, or hopefully, not.
Here she finds herself temporarily mobile (Coles/Woolies?) doing a bit of grocery shopping.
Thanks to her hubby who has sent the image by iPhone.
On a previous occasion, there was another discomfort from which she healed quite well.
