Thursday 5 January 2012: Daily cloud shows in Patagonia

In our 3 weeks in Patagonia we have been lucky to see some phenomenal skies. The clouds have been all sorts of shapes and tonight we experienced one that looked just like a cotton wool ball.

On Day 4 in Bariloche we pushed ourselves to climb Cerro Otto at about 1400 metres high. It was 3 hours strenuous hike up, 20 mins riding the telerifico / cable car down and then a bone-crunching 5km walk into town.

Only one way to celebrate. Another helados / gelati.
