Friday 6 January 2012: Blowing away
To the airport to take C to his flight home, so the house is quiet and empty again but I shouldn't have time to notice too much as I have a lot of work to do over the next few weeks. It's been a wonderful long holiday with all the young people here, but now it's time to get back to normal, I suppose, for only a few weeks before we go to see them all in Wales next month.
Last night was one of the stormiest, windiest we've known here, with the wind coming from the north-west, rather than the more usual north, so that even with all the shutters shut the house still felt battered. Luckily there doesn't seem to have been any damage.
