We'd intended taking a long walk today to walk off some of the feasting which has been happening of late. However, my dear other half was feeling a bit poorly this morning - a cough rather than whisky-induced, he tells me.

So inspired by comments by FriedaQuilter I headed up to the churchyard to see if there were some interesting blips to be had. However, reviewing the photos taken this morning, I liked this view of the graveyard and the church the best.

We had a busy day with friends from Edinburgh en route home from a New Year spent in Broughty Ferry and Dundee 'popping in' for lunch. We tried a walk along the sea front after a late lunch but had to hold on to everything and didn't manage any good photos.

Then family for dinner to complete several days of feasting at Sandcastle Cottage. The intent was to head back to Edinburgh tomorrow...but the best laid plans.
