And Now For Something Completely Different

I saw this small downy feather caught on a thorn while I was walking Miss Annie today. When I looked at it from some angles I could see a delicate pale blue color near the tip. I hadn't used my macro lens for a long time and thought this might be a good subject for it.

The feather is so small and light I had to breathe very gently while focusing (manually) to avoid blowing it away.

I'm sure this is my first feather blip -- hence the title. While I was writing, C informed me that our friend kendallishere has also blipped a feather. I love coincidences.
