Max is certainly well cared for, with love poured upon him generously. He's using his leg gingerly, but getting around, eating well and sleeping a lot. Madame Bellatrix is resting in my reading chair, basking in a sunbeam, hoping to catch a glimpse of him so she can practice her glare.

It's still unseasonably warm, a friend and I walked for an hour and enjoyed the good fortune.
