Camp

Stage 2 of our tour. Sanday. Another of the Northern isles of Orkney. One of the largest and, as always, well named by those viking folk for it has some fabulous beaches.

After an en route stop for lunch and the best meringue I've ever tasted. Camp was set up and our little tents were well and truly tested during the night with fast gusty winds and rain.

This is the view from our tent to the boys' one, they picked a spot as far as they could get from us. Which seemed a laugh at the time but they weren't so sure in the middle of the wild and stormy night.
