Birfeeder Frenzy

The grosbeaks have finally appeared this winter and seem to be pretty welll enamored with the three birdfeeders we keep well stocked for them. Mum has convinced them that she's safe and they now land all over her and take seed from her hands - a pretty neat sight. This handsome guy was the only male at the feeder this afternoon; he had quite the harem with him! He didn't want to come out from behind the branches but I'm pretty tickled with this photo, it really shows off his gorgeous color.
