Thursday 12 January 2012: summery
There's been a curious increase in the amount of these around on the roads over the past few days. Possibly some resolve-finders, possibly just people being told by their offices' car park security staff to take away their dust-gathering Cycle2Work scheme-bought Boardmen before they're forcibly removed. A smartly-dressed unlit ninja pulled up beside me at the ASZ at the east end of Chambers Street yesterday evening, unwisely edging round to the front of a taxi. I'm slightly concerned that he might have taken my glance-and-scowl as an indication that I wasn't impressed by his type of bicycle rather than disapproval of his apparent care to tuck both ends of this trousers into his socks whilst ignoring the absence of lights.
