In the 'Big House'

The Big House
1. Prison.

2. With emphasis "big", a higher-security prison than this one.
The big house is where you go if you do time.

"Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
Albert Einstein

Madame is seen here, spying on Max from a very appropriate liquor shop box. He's safely up in the loft sleeping peacefully. She still cannot find it in her heart to be nice to him.

Our trip to Maine yesterday for B's memorial gathering was quietly healing. A lovely evening of warm words and wonderful food. It was a very cold drive and we finally felt like we were in the correct New England season once we crossed the border into Maine .

For the Record,
This day came in the coldest of the season, 9 degrees F when we got up. The sun hasn't done much to raise the temps even now.
