Pop Art School

Apparently Andy Warhol played around with MacPaint on one of the early Macintosh computers and was well chuffed with himself when he managed to draw a circle. Just like how David Hockney has fully embraced iPad as an artist's tool, I'm thinking Andy Warhol would've wet his pants at all the things Photoshop does nowadays.

These guys seemed to quite enjoy the process of creating something along those pop art lines today, especially after we looked at how much Warhol's versions sell for. I could hear the sound of little entrepreneurial wheels clicking into gear all around the room when they, in the best Warhol tradition, began to churn out their own versions...

Been looking at these screens far too long today, going to switch off and couch potato for the evening.
