Sunday 22 January 2012: My choice for President is...
Candidate number 2 - Pekka Haavisto.
Today Finland voted for a new President; such an exciting day, I could say. Still, as none of the eight candidates gained half or more of the given votes, there will be a second round held in February, when the two most voted will be voted for again - and yes, there'll be my favourite man for the job attending the round, too!
A huge amount of Finns voted for a new open-minded and tolerant era on the first round by voting Pekka Haavisto, but the second round won't be an easy case. After all, it's still a historical victory for Pekka Haavisto to reach a position on the second round!
