Thursday 24 July 2008: Walking in the rain
At our local mall, The Garden Route Mall, we have these lovely bronze statuettes of a boy and girl walking and playing in the rain. Theses statuettes are in an open court yard surrounded by restaurants and eating places.
They are standing on the side of a circular space that have a few water sprinklers, creating the effect of rain ... unfortunately, today the sprinklers were not turned on.
A third stauette is opposite these two of a boy with a strung catapult ... lovely, too.
