Once in a blue moon

Well, maybe a little more often than that, but not very often, I'll eat a dessert. When I have lunch at Le Voilis on the sea front at Le Grau d'Agde I have several, very small ones, as part of the café gourmand, served on a piece of slate - a nice Welsh touch, I think. We'd wandered on the beach for a while, amazed at how the sand has been blown or washed up against the breakwater, and then thought of having mussels at the restaurant because there is a wind shield around the terrace there. Surprisingly, they didn't have any mussels today so we just had to have a three-course menu - and very good it was, too, as always.
