Thursday 26 January 2012: Happy Australia Day from Easter Island
January 26 - Happy Australia Day to our family, friends and fellow blippers.
Nice walk today venturing around the north coast where the horses, cows and dogs roam free. The odd stop along the way to view some historical sites but mainly just enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean.
A lovely couple from Perth (Pam and Rick) gave us this little koala back on our Patagonian trek. Being Australia Day just couldn't resist putting it in today's blip knowing that somewhere way in the background on the other side of the Pacific Ocean is our original and new home - Australia.
