Thursday 26 January 2012: That rings a bell
Almost a year to the day for me back at this place.
Working late in Good Hope theatres.
As I was driving home this came on the player and I had to play the whole album - because I was in the right sort of mood... and it is just a sublime album full of Joni's confessional and heartfelt songwriting and music. She has a way of expressing the magic of youth and love and loss and hope and the insecurity and beauty of being alive.
I hope my kids one day get to appreciate her stuff.
